Multiples Linksystem - Erläuterung und Demonstration
Dieses System stellt die in Linksystemen oder Linkresolvern realisierten Verknüpfungen mit Bestandsnachweisen, Katalogen, Datenbanken und zum Volltext her. Hier auf die Datenbanken JADE, Current Contents und TIBOrder beschränkt. Potentiell ist die Erweiterung auf jede beliebige Datenbank und jedes beliebige Format möglich. Ausserdem ist die Option Neue Datenbank auswählbar, wodurch Daten aus verschiedenen Datenbanken oder in verschiedenen Formaten erfasst und verarbeitet werden können. Diese Option ist noch sehr ausbaufähig und liegt hier zunächst nur in einem Entwurf vor. Lesen Sie dazu die spezielle Erläuterung zu dieser Option, die ein umfassendes selbständiges System darstellt.
Auch die anderen Optionen des multiplen Linksystems sind noch nicht in allen Einzelheiten optimiert. Es können also vorübergehend noch Fehler auftreten.
Die Bibliotheksauswahl und die entsprechenden Bestandsnachweise sind ebenfalls auf wenige Bibliotheken beschränkt. Die Nachweise sind zudem nur teilweise noch aktuell. Sie haben aber die Möglichkeit, über ein mit der EZB verbundenes Einarbeitungsprogramm Ihre aktuellen Bestände elektronischer Zeitschriften zu erfassen und in dieses System temporär, aber auch wiederholt, einzufügen. Beachten Sie, dass die Nachweise nicht immer korrekt erfassbar sind (vor allem bei Nationallizenzen!).
Über den Einfügungsschalter fügen Sie entweder einzelne Zitate oder die gesamte markierte und kopierte Trefferliste der betreffenden Datenbank bzw. des betreffenden Formats in das Formular ein. Sie können auch mehrere Listen nacheinander einfügen. Es können über 200 Treffer problemlos bearbeitet werden. Nichtrelevantes wird aus den Listen automatisch aussortiert.
Im multiplen Linksystem wird die ISSN im allgemeinen der Bestandsliste entnommen und mit dieser die gezielte Verknüpfung mit EZB oder ZDB hergestellt, ansonsten erfolgt die Verknüpfung über den Zeitschriftentitel. Die Verknüpfungen mit Google und Google Scholar erfolgen über den vorliegenden Sachtitel als Phrase und führen meistens direkt zum Volltext. Wenn das bei einem Zitat misslingt, können Sie normalerweise über EZB-Link oder die EZB - hier allerdings nicht direkt- zum Volltext gelangen, ebenso über die SFX-Verknüpfung, soweit eine solche vorhanden ist. Beachten Sie, dass in manchen Fällen der Volltext über Google oder Google Scholar erhältlich ist, auch wenn dafür kein Besitznachweis bzw. freie Verfügbarkeit nachweisbar ist.
Funktionsweise
Das multiple Linksystem vereinigt die unterschiedlichen Codierungen der einzelnen Linksysteme, indem nur die auf die einzelnen Datenbanken oder Standardformate sich beziehenden Codierungen voneinander abweichen und in einem mittleren Abschnitt untergebracht sind, d.h. zwischen dem einleitenden und abschliessenden Abschnitt für alle Formate.
Das Programm, d.h. der JavaScript-Code wird dementsprechend in 3 Arbeitsschritten abgearbeitet.
Im ersten werden die ausgewählte Bibliothek und das Format erfasst und die gesamte Bestandsliste aus den geöffneten Frameabschnitten ausgelesen. Entsprechend dem Format werden im zweiten Abschnitt die relevanten Daten aus der eingefügten Ergebnisliste der Datenbank erfasst und diese in einer standardisierten Form (T="+Txa+" ti="+Te+" z="+Za+" j="+J+" V="+V+" N="+" S="+S+" is="+is) zwischengelagert.
Im dritten Abschnitt werden diese Daten für die verschiedenen Verknüpfungen verwertet und das Ganze schliesslich ausgeschrieben.
Der erste und dritte Abschnitt enthalten für alle Formate (ausser für Google Scholar) dieselbe Codierung. Der 2. Abschnitt wird für jedes Format getrennt codiert. Für Google Scholar werden der 2. Abschnitt und 3. Abschnitt zusammengefasst.
Im folgenden Beispiel soll Ihnen die Funktionsweise des Linksystems am Beispiel eines vereinfachten Systems noch näher erläutert und demonstriert werden.
